The Trust has a duty to provide appropriate training in infection prevention to all staff, and is required to provide a record of this training to the NHS Litigation Authority and the Care Quality Commission. Some training is delivered by face to face teaching, and you must attend such a session at least every two years. The Trust has decided that it will deliver infection prevention training annually, and you can fulfil your responsibility to undertake this extra training by using this website. You will find an assessment quiz on the site; completing the quiz will generate a training record which will be included in your record of mandatory training attendance.
